The name, Campion, originated from the Jesuit priest, Edmund Campion. Campion is a practicing Episcopalian.

Campion is married to the talented Sally Primm, who is a painter. They have three unique adult children; Cory, Sarah and Shaida. Campion is an avid Audible listener. He is currently listening to a Great Course series, “European Thought and Culture in the 20th Century” which is having a profound affect on what he thinks about the world we live in.

  • The world is full of beauty.

At any moment on any day you can see it. The light shimmering on the ocean, the sparkle in a friend’s smile, the smell of freshly baked cookies. We are surrounded by beauty.

We have amazing technology today but the bottom line is that our representations of the world can’t compete with the real thing. That is why we will never stop trying to make art. We are in awe of life’s illusiveness.

Just when we think that I am close to capturing an image that represents the closest representation of natural beauty possible, something changes. Then we get the opportunity to redefine it and recreate it.

The “moment” we are looking for is a combination of how we see things and how the people around us see them as well.

So let’s make something new because the way we see the world today is new and fresh.
